Saint Petersburg in October

Q:I'm dreaming about Saint Petersburg but have an opportunity to have a vocation only in the early October next year. It is a good time to go there? What kind of weather should I expect?

A:Early October is OK for going to Saint Petersburg. It is autumn but you have a good chance to catch a couple of sunny and even warm days. In October the river cruises still operate but there are no lines or crowds in the streets. Of course you should be ready for the rain and get warm and waterproof clothes and boots, but in autumn Saint Petersburg has very special mood and you'll enjoy it.
