On March 9 in Peter and Pauls Fortress will be held a city-wide party Wide Shrovetide. Main aim of Shrovetide 2008 is to create a traditionally family rest for citizens of Saint-Petersburg and its guests. Furthermore, organizers of the party are intended to give support to orphanages', boarding schools' and risk groups' children. Program of the party includes also action NO - DRUGS, popularizing healthy lifestyle.
Organizers want to attract interest to the party on federal and international level, give support to children and revive Russian traditions.
