These days, May 21-23, Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya hotel at Korablestroiteley street hosts the St.-Petersburg Mortgage Forum aimed to draw up practical suggestions and recommendations on how to develop mortgage crediting in Russia.

Participants discuss various issues like solvation of the housing problem in Russia, promotion of mortgage crediting and other financial mechanisms and consolidation of connections between the parties on financial market.

Friday, May 23rd there was a round work table held within the forum framework. The subject for the work table was «International sports competitions and their role in town planning». One of its participants, Demid Momot, Vice-President for the Russian Association of Sports Facilities, paid attention to the lack of swimming pools in St.-Petersburg. As stated by Mr. Momot, at the moment there are only 60 pools in the city. Other news is that 3 million roubles will be invested in St.-Petersburg sports development in 2008.
